Find the Sun/UV Index for Your Area

Meteorologists across the world consider many factors when determining the sun/UV index. An international scale (guideline) was established to indicate exposure to the sun's ultraviolet light. Generally, 0 to 2 is low risk for damage to skin; 3 to 5 is low to medium risk; 6 to 8 is medium to high risk; 9 to 10 is high risk; above 11 is very high risk. Click here for tips on Understanding and Using the Sun/UV Ray Index.
